제51차 UNCSW 회의에서 한국여성정치문화연구소, 한국걸스카우트연맹, 한국 여성 NGO 네트워크의 공동 주최, 여성가족부의 후원 하에 NGO Forum이 개최되었다. 지난 2월 28일 Church Center(UN Plaza)에서 열린 이 포럼은 "Empowerment of Adolescent Girls in Asian Countries: Violence, Education and Leadership Development"를 주제로 열렸으며, 각국 여성지도자와 NGO 대표들이 참석하여 활발한 토론이 이루어졌다.
